Our Goals
Our focus at Haitian Roots is to better the future of Haiti through education. We plan to accomplish this through the following goals:
2005-2006 Goals
- Provide year-long sponsorship to our inital group of 20 children
- Raise awareness of the challenges facing Haitian youth
- Foster enthusiasm and support for our program
Long-term Goals
- Build and operate our own school in Haiti to educate thousands of Haitian children
- Teach adult technical education classes in Haiti covering topics such as basic computer use, Office productivity applications, networking, systems administration and software design.
